My name's Vanessa Hurley and I'm the founder and CEO of FXC: Forex and Crypto Education. Outside of this company I run a nonprofit called Be Fed Foundation dedicated towards helping to fight against food insecurity in Massachusetts, I'm a huge fitness enthusiast, foodie, & crypto nerd (but you already knew that)! I live for helping people and impacting the greater good. I've been working on this platform in particular for 6 years now. This community means everything to me, and I am hoping together we can create something of lasting value for years to come. Read how this idea came to be below:
My Story
"My first year of college, I got sucked into a massive pyramid scheme within the Foreign Exchange market, where I along with 30 other individuals were set up by a scammer "mentor" trying to teach us how to day trade currencies using AI. It ended in a huge mess as you can assume, and I lost $2k in the process... which is devastating for a college student!
After some time reflecting and hearing from those who experienced similar instances, I realized this was a huge problem within the FX community: a lack of education, trustworthy sources, money management, and tons of people were missing out on the chance to really excel in this market, and the same thing now happening with Cryptocurrency too.
And so, I came up with FXC. I am on a mission to provide justice to those who truly want a fair chance at learning both Forex/Crypto markets correctly, with the best tools, all your needed resources in one location, & no fear of getting scammed or wasting time."
